Himachal Pradesh is having dangerous weather. Now, the
weather is affecting the candidates of government schools. Also, in the heavy
rain, the teachers are also facing difficulties in coming to the schools. The
students who are appearing for the board examinations are also dealing with the
problems. Many students are appearing for the practical examinations in
snowflakes. On Wednesday, the State Teachers Union had a conference with the Director
of HP Board Veerendra Chauhan. The teachers have demanded the director to
declare holidays for the candidates and also to postpone the practical
examinations due to heavy rain.
The practical exams of 10th class will be held from February
21 to 28, 2019. These examinations are being held in associated schools only.
To know the examination dates, respective subjects, and the timings, the
candidates should contact the respective schools. It is reported that the
students can not carry the mobile phone and electronic gadgets in the exam
centre. If the students violate these rules then they will not be approved to
sit for the examination hall. The theory exams of 10th class will be held from
March 07 to 20, 2019. The exams will be handled for 13 days. The first
examinations will be for Science & Technology. The exam dates for regular
board & open schools are the same.
The students of the regular/improvement/compartment/other
subjects will be ready to appear for the theory examinations from 8:45 am to
12:00 noon. For the students who are enrolling for the open school,
examinations will be prepared to do so from 1:45 pm to 5:00 pm.
The practical examinations have been updated. Now, the board
is managing the practical examinations from February 19, 2019. First practical
examination is for Physics. The last practical examination will be for
Chemistry and it will be held on March 02, 2019. As per HPBOSE 12th class DateSheet 2019, the theory examinations will be managed from March 06, 2019. The
exams will be completed within 23 days. The last date of the examinations is
March 29, 2019. The first and the last exams will be held for Financial
Literacy and English respectively.
For 8th class, the students are going to appear for the
examinations from March 14, 2019. After 12 days, the exams will be completed on
March 26, 2019. The first exam is Sanskrit while the last exam is Arts (Drawing
and Applied Arts)/Home Science/Instrumental Music/Punjabi/ Urdu/Vocal Music.
