Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations has come up with the update in the pattern of the question papers. As per the news, in the upcoming board exams of 11th and 12th class, there will be only Multiple Choice Questions in the objective section. Questions of type fill in the blanks are now excluded from the question paper. This last-minute change in the exam pattern put the teachers, students, and parents in dilemma. They are not ready to identify the change in the pattern. Beginning in the last week of January TN board has issued the model paper which consists of the questions of type fill in the blanks, match the following and the assertion type questions. But a month later TN board has updated the question paper pattern a little bit. Now below the objective section, there will be the only MCQ type questions. It means every question will have four options. This can also consist of the match the type questions but having four options.
TN board has made the level of 11th and 12th class question paper easier. However, the decision of the TN board is not being liked by the candidates as well as the parents. According to them, this last minute update in the pattern creates confusion among the many students and teachers. There are no sample papers available to be referred by the candidates. Through articles, this also came to understand that more than 17 lakh candidates of 11th and 12th class from private and government schools following the Samacheer Kalvi syllabus. Exams are going to begin from next month and this time parents are in a tension mode, worrying regarding their children’s marks scored in the examinations. Marks obtained at the intermediate level makes the candidate eligible for the admission in higher education. By combining the optional typed questions makes easier for the students to score more in the examinations. Though the candidates have not received much time to go through the latest pattern but increase the chance of scoring good marks.
TN 11th class exams are going to begin from March 06. While the 12th class examinations are programmed to conduct from March 01 to 19. Only some days left to start the exams and students are actively waiting for their hall ticket to be published. Expecting to be delivered by the end of this month.
