With less than a month to go for the 10th and 12th Class board examinations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 29 Jan 2019 discussed ways to handle the examination stress with students, teachers or parents in the second edition of ‘PARIKSHA PE CHARCHA’ in New Delhi at the Talkatora Stadium.
He asked guardians not to assume their children to fulfil their unfulfilled dreams and celebrate even small achievements of their wards. He said technology should start to the expansion of the brain and be seen as a means to innovate, but, he also asked candidates to continue playing in the areas.
Here are the top 10 suggestions Prime Minister said when the second edition of “PARIKSHA PE CHARCHA”:
- Guardians should not use their children’s result as their own “visiting cards” at social gatherings because it starts to undue pressure on the child. He asked guardians not to put the load of what they could not reach on their wards.
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked the candidates to know their passion and try to get clarity regarding what they want to become in life by analysing themselves or taking help of others like their teachers and seniors.
- PM Narendra Modi asked children’s to try and convince their guardians about the choices they make for their profession after a thorough evaluation of their skills. They should also discuss their view and ask them to show the way after telling their problems.
- Prime Minister asked guardians to encourage their children when he/she faces failures.
- Narendra Modi tells students that expectations of guardians and near and dear ones are real and is good to some range as it goads us to work hard and do better. However, he asked guardians not to make the success of their wards as a benchmark for their enduring in the society.
- Prime Minister asks parents to keep their wards minutely until they are adults. They should see the differences they undergo in their daily routine and help them in dealing with their stress when needed.
- Considering the issue of very high interest of students in online games these days, the PM asks guardians to take interest in the new improvements in technology and help their children to channelize their interests and energy into the chance to enhance their knowledge or personality. ‘Sit with your children, give them any work and ask them to see something latest through technology and teach the child the right use of technology’ says the Prime Minister. With a smile, Narendra Modi also referred to the craze of PUBG among candidates these days.
- PM Modi asks candidates to dream big, not small. “If you miss a plan it can be released, but if the aim is low it is wrong,” PM said. He said, “The target should be in lead but not in grasp. We should know our abilities properly before choosing a target, which should be focused on our dream.” He also asked candidates to divide their aim into small targets or introspect in case they disappoint to meet a target.
- PM Narendra Modi tells students that the mantra to stay energetic and motivated is being connected to one's goals. Giving an example, PM said, “However ill the mother is, she opens the door with a smile when her children return home“.
- To help grow time management, PM Narendra Modi asks candidates to analyse how they gave the last one week and bring differences in their routine accordingly. PM Narendra Modi said, “Successful people do not have the paucity of time, because they understand its value”.
