As the entire world is fighting against the deadly coronavirus which is causing the disease COVID-19, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ordered a nationwide lockdown which has been very recently extended to the 3rd of May. It can be increased further depending on the situation and nothing is certain as of yet. Everything except for the essentials are closed and people are even working from home. The Centre has decided that no educational institutions will start operating at least before June.
Why Postponed Exams:
The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education had the class 10 exams scheduled to end on 27th March. But due to the sudden lockdown initiated by the Prime Minister on 23rd, the exams scheduled on 24th and 27th of March had to be postponed. Initially, the lockdown was announced till 31st of March, which later got extended to 14th of April and has again been extended till the 3rd of May with no certainties whether it will be further extended or not.
